Pennsylvania is mourning the loss of Patrick Cooper, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, friend, and cherished teammate, whose passing has left a void that can never truly be filled. Patrick was taken from us far too soon, and his absence is felt deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
There are people who come into your life and you just click—Patrick was one of those people. To those who worked alongside him, he was more than a colleague; he was a friend. The bond formed through shared shifts, inside jokes, and everyday moments became something truly special. One coworker shared, “I’m going to miss working with you, my friend. I’m so glad I got to train you on all four positions because I really got to know you. We were just talking and joking around four hours prior. My heart breaks for your wife, your Mom, your kids and grandkids, and our entire team.”
That sentiment echoes what so many are feeling—memories of a great guy gone way too soon.
Patrick worked hard and took pride in everything he did. He valued honesty, integrity, and the simple joys of life—time spent with family, good company, and the comfort of home. He didn’t need grand gestures to show he cared; his actions spoke louder than words ever could.
To Patrick’s wife, his mother, his children and grandchildren, and his entire work family, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences. The pain of losing someone so suddenly is unimaginable. Please know that you are not alone in your grief. A community stands with you.
Rest peacefully, Patrick. You will be greatly missed by all of us.
