With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we remember Jeffrey Brown, 50, of Suffolk, Virginia, whose life was tragically cut short following an auto-versus-pedestrian crash in the early hours of Sunday, November 1, 2026, in Suffolk.

According to the Suffolk Police Department, officers responded to the 1400 block of Holland Road at approximately 12:50 a.m. following reports of a vehicle striking a pedestrian. Upon arrival, authorities located Jeffrey suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was immediately airlifted to a local hospital, where medical personnel fought to save his life. Sadly, despite those efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver involved in the collision remained at the scene, according to police. Authorities have not released additional details as the investigation continues.
Jeffrey’s passing is a heartbreaking reminder of how suddenly life can change. One moment, a life is moving forward, carrying dreams, memories, and possibilities; the next, an unexpected tragedy leaves behind an emptiness that words can hardly describe.
Although the details of his final moments are painful, his life deserves to be remembered for more than the circumstances surrounding his passing. Every life leaves behind a story, and every soul deserves to be remembered with dignity.
