McCoy Stetson Stewart brought extraordinary happiness into the lives of those around him, filling everyday moments with laughter, music, and an unforgettable smile. Though his life lasted only five years, the love he shared left a lasting mark on his family and community.

McCoy, of Teepee Creek, Alberta, passed away in Grande Prairie on October 11, 2026, at five years old. Born on November 18, 2020, he was cherished for his gentle heart, remarkable curiosity, and playful personality.
The young boy had a special fascination with anything that moved. John Deere machinery, big trucks, tractors, trailers, and animals captured his imagination. His family affectionately described him as a little “foreman” who enjoyed directing trailer maneuvers and making sure everyone did their jobs correctly.
Beyond his love of machinery, McCoy was known for his humor and musical enthusiasm. He loved singing and dancing, often knowing more song lyrics than his parents. His observant nature and kindness made people feel appreciated, while his smile could brighten any room.
McCoy leaves behind his parents, Andrew and Leigha; his older brother, Rhody; grandparents Gina and Joe; extended family members; and many friends who will treasure their memories of him. He was predeceased by his great-grandparents Earl, Kathy, Barney, and Alvin.
His memorial service was scheduled for October 20, 2026, at Bezanson Community Church in Alberta, with a private family interment beforehand.
Although McCoy’s family must now face an unimaginable loss, his memory will live on through the laughter, songs, and love he gave so freely. His five beautiful years will forever remain a treasured part of their lives.
Forever five. Forever loved. Forever their McCoy.
