Family members, friends, fellow Royal Navy veterans, and loved ones are mourning the heartbreaking death of Chief Petty Officer Craig Blakeway (CPOWTR), a respected Royal Navy veteran, devoted husband, loving father of three, and dedicated NHS manager who passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday, October 25, 2026. He was just 56 years old.

Craig’s unexpected passing has left an immeasurable void in the lives of those who knew and loved him, particularly his beloved wife, with whom he shared 32 wonderful years together, including 29 years and seven months of marriage.

Their relationship was built on decades of love, companionship, shared experiences, and unwavering commitment. Both Craig and his wife proudly served in the Royal Navy, sharing a special connection through their dedication to military service and the values that shaped their lives.
